2024 was a busy year for Atira Conservation. We’re pleased to have contributed to 26 land
transactions, helping to permanently secure 19,681 acres of conservation lands!
We are proud to have partnered with 18 land trusts, as well as many other conservation organizations and private landowners in 12 states, supporting fee–simple acquisitions and conservation easements on private lands. Projects ranged from rare bog habitat in Ohio and barrens in Indiana, to grass valleys and working lands in Montana, greenway space in Idaho, temperate forests in Kentucky, wetlands in Utah, cave systems in Tennessee and hardwood forests in Maine.
Our desire is to continue developing collaborative opportunities and creating new partnerships across the U.S.
We remain committed to finding and funding important and ecologically rich lands that provide the greatest impact for wildlifeand people. We want to keep conserving lands that matter!
