Our Successes

Atira Conservation is focused on conserving lands that matter: Our funding supports ecologically rich lands that have unique habitats, high species diversity and/or are important areas for plant and wildlife conservation. We also protrect properties adjacent-to or connected-to other conservation lands, as well as natural spaces with community significance.

Successful land conservation projects also depend on developing and growing partnerships with local land trusts, other conservation organizations and private landowners. Individual donors and conservation organizations may contact us to discuss land protection ideas for important natural spaces in their communities. It’s important to note that we only support easement and land purchases with committed perpetual stewardship and permanent protection plans in place.
